taking the words of Jesus seriously

I can’t believe Phyllis Tickle is 80 years old…she seems so young! That’s because people are as old as their cynicism and as young as their dreams. In spite of all its shortcomings and failures she has stayed on board with the Church without cynicism and has helped us all to dream the dreams of a new kind of Church that embraces progressive forms of Christianity. I only wish she could give us another 80 years of her insights and leadership.
