Shane is a founding partner of The Simple Way, a faith community in inner city Philadelphia that has helped to birth and connect radical faith communities around the world, many of whom have become known as a “new monasticism” which produced the book Schools for Conversion. Gareth Higgins, Ph.D. was born in 1975 and raised in Belfast, northern Ireland. At 18 years old he volunteered to work with Urban Promise in Camden, NJ, and was profoundly shaped by the influence of Dr Tony Campolo. He later co-founded and led the zero28 Project, an innovative peacebuilding initiative working at the cutting edge of imaginative culture and non-violent activism in northern Ireland. Kurt Willems is an Anabaptist writer and speaker.  As a child he endured physical abuse and poverty, but God mended the broken pieces of his past and continues to use his story to move people into compassionate action.  After spending several years in both youth and adult church ministries as a pastor, he’s returned to seminary to finish a Masters of Divinity degree at Fresno Pacific Biblical Seminary.  Through blogging (The Pangea Blog), Kurt ministers to thousands of people who desire a faith that pulls them out of the seas of Christendom into the Kingdom movement of a resurrected revolutionary. Jonathan Wilson-Hartgrove is an author and New Monastic who speaks often about faith, community, and reconciliation in the Way of Jesus. He is co-founder of the Rutba House, a new monastic community in the Walltown neighborhood of Durham, NC. Jonathan directs School for Conversion, an alternative seminary offering courses in marginal communities, prisons, and homeless shelters. An Associate Minister at the historically black St. Johns Missionary Baptist Church, Jonathan is married and has two children. Jonathan’s newest book is Common Prayer: A Liturgy for Ordinary Radicals.
