Danielle Espiritu

Danielle Espiritu is a Kanaka Maoli educator from Kāneʻohe, Oʻahu currently living with her ʻohana in Waimalu in the moku (district) of ʻEwa. She is of Chinese, Samoan, Native Hawaiian, Korean, Puerto Rican, Filipino, and European descent, and honors the people, lands, and genealogies that have shaped her. Dani and her community are passionate about justice and pursuing the Lord's heart and presence. They seek to live lives that bring healing, reconciliation, and abundance to both ʻāina (land, that which feeds) and kānaka (people) by restoring balance and right relationship, and they stand on the shoulders of many poʻe aloha ʻāina (patriots, lovers of the land) who held fiercely to their love for their lands, their people, and for Iesū (Jesus).
