This morning, Pope Benedict XVI announced his plans to become the first Pope in over 600 years to resign the post. Benedict, 85, cited his advanced age and diminished strength as the reasons for his resignation. In a radio show taping earlier today, Tony Campolo offered his thoughts on what this means for the Catholic Church, the world as a whole, and whether he believes these are the real reasons Benedict is stepping down:
