When it comes to the Christian faith, the loudest voices haven’t always been the most beautiful or the most faithful voices. We believe it’s time to change the narrative, and one of the ways we change it is by changing the narrators.
So we have created this series of workshops in order to help compassionate, faith-rooted Christians raise their voices in a public way. We are committed to amplifying the voices of people of faith who are writing, and speaking, and creating music and art at the intersection of Jesus and justice, grounded in love and liberation.
Think of all the books that have shaped who you are and how you look at the world! How did the writer move the idea from their mind to your bookshelf? What was their writing process? How did they get their foot in the door with a publisher? Why did the publisher say, “Yes!” to publishing their book? Did they have an agent? What difference does an agent make?
