taking the words of Jesus seriously

In the wake of Superstorm Sandy, which took over 50 lives and left thousands on the Eastern seaboard without power, many are now wondering what they can do to help.

Red Letter Christians has teamed up to support the Fuller Center for Housing in their relief efforts. Their first project is focused in Atlantic City, NJ and is in need of your help. They estimate that it will cost an average of $15, 000 per house to muck out and replace the sheet rock. In addition to money their basic needs right now are the following:

  • storage containers
  • shingles
  • insulation
  • sheet rock

Whatever you can do to help is greatly needed and appreciated. Please go to the Fuller Center for Housing’s website to sign up to volunteer or to contribute.

Our thoughts and prayers are with all those affected by Superstorm Sandy and those diligently working to rebuild.
