When we believe ourselves to be debt free, we forget forever the debt we owe to Jesus. We forget that all we have we owe to God, that nothing is ours in perpetuity except for our lives.
With those simple words, this phrase is becoming a movement — not only for women but also for people of color, for the LGBTQ community, for people with special needs, for anyone really who has lived their life being told that their time doesn't matter, that they often exist to be AVAILABLE for others.
I don’t know if either of my daughters are gay or straight or will want to be in relationships at all. That isn’t the point. What worries me the most is what role they will play in a parable about love.
